It’s a one-lane gravel/dirt road with only three houses, all along the right side of the road. On the left is a wooded area. Whistlestop follows an old railroad line, and it was here that steam trains stopped to take on water. We can still see one of the old concrete supports for the train trestles. My husband made the sign when we moved in several years ago. As soon as I turn onto the road, I’m home.
