The Episcopal Church of the Cross, originally built in 1857, is located in Bluffton, South Carolina. During the American Civil War, when Federal troops burned the town they spared the church. It later was damaged by a hurricane in 1898, and was rebuilt in 1900. My entry for this week’s photo challenge hosted by A Word in Your Ear includes four views of the church’s wooden arched doors and windows.
