Autumn will not arrive in full splendor here in North Georgia until late October, but already there are hints…

The blooms on the oakleaf hydrangea, which have been white all summer, are turning pink.  I don’t ever remember this happening before.

And the dogwood leaves are almost completely red.  They got an early start, so maybe we’re in for a colder-than-normal winter.
