Bastet’s Pixelventures‘ challenge this week is autumn photos in black and white.  Because most autumn photos are taken to capture the brilliant colors of the season, this proved to be an interesting challenge.   My entry includes two photos, taken last year, of grandson B. at the pumpkin farm.  (We won’t visit the farm this year for another week.)

Here the mottled coloration of the pumpkins can be seen, even in black and white:

And here, the black and white photo accurately captures the color of these autumn pumpkins, white!
