It’s been a rainy autumn here in my corner of North Georgia.  The brilliant colors that were so prevalent last year haven’t arrived.  Many trees on our property already have lost their leaves, which simply turned brown before falling.

The plant known as Autumn Joy sedum, however, is lovely this year.  It blooms from August to November and the blooms, which are pink in late summer, change to an autumn copper color as the weather turns cooler.
